Theodore K. (Ted) Furber, Attorney - Partner. Ted is a native of Minneapolis and received a B. A. degree from Dartmouth College in Business Administration, and a J. D. degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. Ted also holds a Masters of Comparative Law and an Advanced Degree in German Civil Law from the Universität Muenster (Germany). Ted practices in the areas of corporate and business law, and of estate and succession planning. Ted began his career as in house counsel with large, publicly-held corporations. He then entered the private practice of law in Minneapolis, where his law work has emphasized the special legal needs of entrepreneurs and emerging businesses. Steven J. Timmer, Attorney – Of Counsel. Steve is a native of Iowa and received a Bachelor of Science in economics and government from the Honors Program at Iowa State University, and a J.D. cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School. Steve’s practice has emphasized corporate and commercial law, international trade and investment, resolution of commercial disputes, intellectual property and customs law. Kirsten Lundholm – paralegal. Kirsten has worked with attorneys as a professional paralegal since 1995, joining Furber Timmer Zahn, PLLP in September, 2002. She has experience in the areas of estate planning and probate, as well as general business and corporate law.
Melissa Kasprowicz – Paralegal. Melissa has an Associate of Applied Science Degree from Inver Hills Community College. She has over 12 years experience as a professional paralegal in the areas of estate planning and probate, as well as general business law, including immigration matters. Melissa joined Furber Timmer Zahn, PLLP in September, 2005.
